All of the trunk builds I've done got loud easy while all of the SUV builds I've done got ****** scores including mine (which i dont think is that ****** concidering.) So from my EXPERIENCE I've found car trunks not any harder to get loud on the meter and defiantly not by ear almost all trunk builds ive heard are louder by ear. also I AM louder on music whether you want to believe it or not I did a bit of testing after my run and almost any good track played vs tone the track won.

[QUOTE="Fi_, post: 7593247, member: 637405"] When I see a jeep with 3 12" Strokers and a 6kw amplifier hitting a 147 @ 40+hz and then I see a thrown together trunk build with 2 12 CVX's and a ZX2500.1D hitting a 146 off 32hz I tend to think it's a pretty loud build. Now if I wanted to go back and tweak his system for numbers I could probably squeeze another 2-3db out of it and I think we all agree a 148 is pretty **** loud out of a trunk as you all seem to agree trunks are hardest to get loud. I've also head a 160 and the car that hit a 146 is hella loud I know loud by definition of what I've heard and on the meter. I think anything more than a 140 is pretty **** loud and I think almost anyone would agree. Maybe you've lost sight of what loud is? lol not everyone needs 150+db to be concidered "loud" by definition. My dad wont even stand 10ft from my truck and I don't think my truck is that loud. I just don't understand what was wrong with that comment... or how it would come off as negative towards anyone.
