Ivereting subs vs regular mounting??

The only difference is the change in enclosure volume. Normal mounting means you have to account for the sub's air displacement, when it's inverted it displaces no air. So, everything else constant, if you have a ported enclosure going from 'normal' to inverted your enclosure gains a little bit of usable airspace and the tuning drops slightly.
