Peerless XXLS 10" Aluminum cone sub

Partsexpress.com 120w amplifier

I had the 10" in a sealed box for quite some time and it sounded great, but i got bored so i decided to start up a project to get rid of some of the MDF scrap.

The new plan is a ~1.85 cubic foot enclosure tuned to ~26hz. This will be a downfiring box when i am finished. Peerless recommends 2.5 cubes with a single 3" port however i did not want to give up so much room. The port comes out to 12 sq. in. IMO it is on the small side but since its larger than peerless suggested and I am not running gobs of power into the sub I figure it should be alright.

I still have to do the cutout for the amplifier, cut out the arches in the bottom of the sides with my reverse flush trim bit, and do my finish work to cover up the imperfections so the vinyl lays perfectly flat.
