As to our President, their are multiple reasons for this war, this in no way ameliorates any other reason. DUH! I eat a steak because I'm hungry. OOPS...I eat steak because I like it so the I'm hungry argument is now invalid? AMAZING logic.
Again you try to twist things, ineffectively if you ask me.. You are trying to compare 'eating' to killing innocent people.. And, your example doesn't cause conflict with other reason as stated.. Though, you don't "eat steak because you are hungry" .. you "eat because you are hungery".. you add to that "eat steak because I like it".. there is no conflict.. Your wording doesn't match the argument you are trying to convey..
Of course we can be there for 'multiple' reasons, but that would also imply someone has enough sense to mention them together.. If you say "I hate you because you stink".. then a shower is taken, then say "I hate you cause your hair is black", then a dye job insues, then say "I hate you cause you have a car", the other reasons for 'hating' have been elieviated so you can't be hating for all of them.. in a similar context.. if asked why you are doing somehing and you say "X" and people say, "but X isn't proven".. then you say, "um.. for Y then", and people say "but, Y isn't valid since it's being done", then you say "um.. Z".. you are CHANGING the reasons.. not going in for multiple reason.. you are trying your dammdest to make sure you get what you want no matter the excuse.. THAT is why I say we aren't there for humanitarian reasons.. that just happens to be the last one that people couldn't call him on.. but, again, the US is NOT in the habbit of giving a rat's *** about humanitarian causes in the name of WAR.. If you refute that, then show me one declaration of war based on "liberating" the populous (that the US faught for some other country).. and it can't be this one, as it would be the first..

Your arguments are repetitive, disproven, unprovable, argumentative for the sake of argument, and intellectually bankrupt. The fact that someone calls you on this is what relly bugs you.
Here we go again with the projecting.. We had this discussion in another thread way back when. Look up 'obfuscation'.. that's what YOU do.. as exemplified with the 'hungry/steak' analogy.. You try to confuse others to match your state of confusion then say I try to make things obscure? I don't "bait and bytch" either (not that I have any idea how you use a 'sales' tactic of bait and switch to try and apply here, but what ever).. I'm being accused of being repetitive by others here, which means I keep standing by my statements while others (like you) keep offering some pointless distraction instead of stepping up and answering the question or offering proof.. How many times in the "out of Curiosity" thread of yours have I asked for ONE link to support your statements of violation? MANY.. how many links have you supplied to support your accusation? NONE... But "I'm" the one obfuscating? You are flat out dodging issues.. You have yet to disprove any of my arguments (excepting the Canada oil one, which I actaully offered the proof to to show my own mistake).. Many of my points are not provable, true.. but you are making statments that are supposedly 'provable'.. yet you can't/don't offer proof to back it up.. I CAN'T offer proof for my statment since I'm saying we haven't found anything illegal yet, THAT IS NOT A PROVALBE STATMENT, ONLY DISPROVABLE, which hasn't been disproved yet.. Not even knowing the difference (as you apparently don't) is much more intellecutally bankrupt.. Intellect.. the ability to process information and use that information.. you obviously can't.. So, you call me bankrupt despite my understanding that my statements can't be proven since the inspectors have been removed.. You can prove your statement only when a violation has been found (and documented, you keep saying everyone knows about the violations, but yet offer no proof of that..)
I don't get bugged by being called on something when it's a valid call, I get bugged when people who fancy themselves intellectual yet are barely average in mind, try in vain to make me look as vacant as them. You keep using piss poor tactics, then accuse me of it.. you keep making statements that should be provable but offer no proof, then say I'm not proving my (unprovable) statements..
We, once again, come to the point where you can offer no substance to back up your supposedly 'provable' statements and refuse to even admit that you won't offer proof or can't.. so this debate might as well be over now.. You are a die hard patriot (in your own mind at least) who thinks the President and this country can do no wrong.. You are entitled to that. I truely feel sorry for you for being so blind and closeminded as to never question authority and feel the need to lash out at anyone strong enough to do so.. Instead of throwing a tantrum next time, perhaps you will provide a reasonable discussion of your views with supporting proof for your statements of fact.. Well, since I know I don't know everything but strive to learn as much as I can.. I'll presume you aren't talking to me.. and, in that context, that's a decent statement (is that a quote? or something you came up with?).. Though, I have to immagine it doesn't apply to you since you seem to know you don't know everything but you obviously don't want to learn anything that might upset your tiny view of the world..
