LMAO.. man.. you crack me up.. I never said the Iraqi people didn't want us there.. NEVER did I say that.. I said they, to my knowledge, never formally asked for help.. I have said SEVERAL times that I'm pretty sure they WANT us there and WELCOME the end of Saddam, but .. we (the US) have never before engaged in any 'war' for humanitarian reason and if we really cared one drop of piss about the Iraqi people (as a government) then why have we never pressed the issue with Saddam before this? He's been a psycho and killing and torturing his own people since BEFORE 91.. but did we 'liberate' them then? no.. why? IT"S NOT OUR POLICY.. This time it's just a rouse cause Bush tried and tried to invade to get at Saddam and couldn't justify it until he appealed to the 'liberation' idea..

YEA, LETS JUST LET SADDAM KILL THOUSAND MORE INNOCENT LIVES, WHEN HE RUNS OUT OF HIS OWN, MAYBE HE WILL GIVE THE U.S. THE HONOR OF KILLING THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT AMERICANS.

*sigh* Read back over where I was suggesting we kill Saddam (many times in some of the other war threads).. and I suggested it time and time again.. and was told "we can't unless we go to war".. that I disagree with too, but..

This goes back to the absorbing what you read idea.. you want to fight with me soooo bad you keep creating things to fight about, even when they are in the same vein as what I've stated earlier.. I don't get it..

what he is getting at is you where given one source, then said that wasn't good enough so he told you of the radio and then you retorted with the I am at work. the proof is out there, you just have to take off your blinders

they never asked for help for the simple reason if they did they would be tortured and then killed. I wasn't neccesarily focusing this towards you, just sick of everyone saying that we don't care about the people.

oh and thank clinton for the 9-11 attacks and thank clinton for not doing this sooner.

I don't get the feeling that that's what he's getting at.. I get the feeling that he has nothing left to complain about at the moment so he is focusing on pointless drivel like he always does until he thinks of some new way to try and derail the debate..

The base of my point is this.. if he truely believes that confliting reports is good enough as proof, then I can't trust his judgment and won't take his word (that credibilty thing again).. I was simply pointing out that the foxnews link he provided as 'proof' was far from proof.. so his offereing 'a just in on the radio' post was pointless as well.. he's shown that he can't offer proof, even when he thinks he is.. There is a good chance that we will end up with proof, but that won't make these past few days of his futile attempts at vidicating his 'you should admit you were wrong, we have proof' any less pitiful..

again, even if there was 'proof' supplied today at 2pm, he stated yesterday that there was proof, there was not (and still I can't find any.. ).. *shrug*

no savant what he was saying is that you can't think for your self and comprehend that if bombs are falling on baghdad, then the U.S. is doing it. Maybe saddam is bombing himself, after all, he did say that we weren't even in his country. think about the childish arguement that you are putting forth. I think that the Military is a little more worried about beating saddam than what type of weapons he is using.

As a government and nation, we do NOT care about the people.. there are people suffering all over the world and we aren't waging war to help them.. there are many other things behind this.. (and again, there is no evidence that has beengiven to us to support a connection to Sept.11 and Saddam, if there was, we would be in there for 'that', not for liberating the people)..

doing this sooner implies we have a good reason for being in there.. we do not.. And to 'blame Clinton' for Sept. 11 is really careless and irresponsible.. Clinton isn't the one that flew planes into the Trade Center.. The attacks are a culmination of decades of growing dissent towards the American people.. If you want to blame someone, blame all of America for pissing on the rest of the world and some of the world not likeing it.. There is no 'one' person to blame in the context of picking a person from our Government... Just like if this all turns out badly (N. Korea decides to nuke, or Turkey ignores us and attacks the kurds, or some other crap that could explode in this volitle climate) it's not just Bush's fault.. he has courts that let him do it, congress that didn't stop him, a public that is all gungho for a fight, etc etc etc.. Though, this is a consous descison where as the terrorist attacks aren't something anyone in this country consously advocated..
