You lean to the right of center- thats noted

I try to look at both sides from the center but generally tilt towards the left more than the right-thats noted

Anyway, Heres the breakdown of the 'extremes'

I know you heartiily defend Savage but just try this one..

Go to hot talk 560 (i think thats the local broadcaster of the savage nation)

Listen to savage for 5 minutes

He'll undoubtly be calling liberals names and yelling

then go to 94.1 FM

listen to someone like John Judge the conspiracy theorist rant for 5 minutes (with P.E. playing in the background nonetheless)

He will undoubtly be calling conservative politicians names and yelling too

Hence, youve got 2 arrogant obnoxious pundits who put down any viewpoints that arent molded around theirs.

You listen to either of these guys and you'll get mad.

If u like savage, he will make u get mad at whoever hes bashing that day

If u dont like savage, he will make u get mad at his bashing a certain group/policy/etc.

Likewise,

If u listen to John Judge, the reaction is exactly the same-- anger is the product(not objective information) \

And just like Savage, he will make u either get mad with him, or get mad at him!

I dont have much respect for pundits like this. They're shock jocks. They use half shaded tidbits of information loosely weaved around their own ideologies and they do this because they know they will captivate a reactionary audience and likewise provoke a reactionary response--anger.

Neither of these guys wants to truly and objectively inform you the listener, All they want to do is inflame the listener and provoke a reactionary frenzy of emotion.

Well I read Bushwatch and saw nothing more than prejudicial innuende and pap. An example is the statement that the British disagreed with Powell's UN evidence (implying it was the govt) and only deep into the section admitting it was British anti govt anti war dips disagreeing and no real basis as to why they thought it was false.

I've got to disagree with you here. Television news is actually heavily biased, but they attempt to disguise it. First off he yells and calls liberals names because that's what the liberals do. He says this on his show. He mentions the problems with conservatives is they don't know how to street fight. He states that the liberals name call because that's all that most of them can do, so he throws it back at them. If you bring up racial profiling they will call you a racist. He also states the truth. Did you here about the new polling law, I believe it's in Massachusetts where they will not check for an ID for hispanics, because they are less likely to have an ID. THis makes a lot of sense. WHen I went to vote in the last state election in CA. they didn't check ID either. All you had to do was look at the list they had on a table and say one of the names. But according to liberals it would be racist to check for ID. WHat's more important is that we let anyone vote. But this could lead to fraud at the polls couldn't it? I guess the liberals don't take this into consideration.

Actually they do. LBJ won his first election by having everyone who had died in the last year but was still registered vote for him...I guess it was the spirit of the thing that mattered.

That's why college students were being paid in Wisconsin to vote multiple times for Al Bore. That's why in Florida they were registering felons whose conviction wasn't yet posted with the board of elections. That's why they took voting machines to county jails. That's why they picked up winos and gave them a carton of smokes to vote (so much for being anti tobacco).

Don't forget the voided ballots issue in Florida. It got little press but that was an old Daley trick from Chicago. Here's how it works. You get a few vote tabulators who are with you on the fix. They wrap a wire around 1 finger with a stiff section sticking out a half inch or so on the palm side. When they pick up a handful of ballots to put in the counting machine THEY POKE THE WIRE THROUGH THE GORE SLOT.

Now if a ballot was for Bush it shows up as a double vote Bush-Gore and is tossed out. If it was a Buchanan vote it shows up as a double vote Buchanan-Gore and is tossed out. If it was a Gore vote it it is still a Gore vote and counts. The intent is to steal the election by voiding the opposition's votes not adding to yours which is what investigators look for. If you still lose you can argue "confused voters" because you are involved in so many double votes.

The hatred the left in this country has for Bush is due to the fact that in spite of all the cheating they still lost and can't deal with it. In 1993 they controlled the majority of govt

from governorships to state congresses to the house of representatives to the senate to the white house. Billy Jeff Clinton in the effort to keep himself in the office cost the Democratic party EVERYTHING.

Well since all this can't be the fault of their having no agenda other than being against anything the new administration opposes or of having no message or of vast corruption and abuse of power it must be that Dubya tricked the voters.

Like I said, their voting idea that involves no ID, actually would be fantastic in a perfect world. The liberals also wanted to create a new way of registering. They tried passing an initiative that would allow people to register on election. THis would work in a perfect world. How are they going to check your information that day? BY the time they do the research and find out that you were illegal, or gave fake information so that you could vote more than once, the election will have already been decided with your vote included. There was guy that actually was able to register his dog to vote. Ofcourse the politicians wanted to give him severe punishment. They should have been thanking him for showing them that there are holes in the system. But even with this incident the system has not change, it has only gotten worse. Luckily the system of registering on election day did not pass as most voters voted against it. Part of the problem with politics is none of this comes out on television news. THis is why I consider television news to not be news. The media only tells you what they want to. This is why I state that the news has a biased. Nothing came out on television about the corruption with Clinton. All they told us was that he was cheating on his wife. They didn't tell us about the espionage he was involved in. So if the media has a conservative bias why didn't they mention it? Answer, the television media doesn't have a conservative bias. Clinton has a list of bad stuff. Some say that him makes him like us. THat may make him like you but I know I'm a better person than he is.

So. LWW what are my chances of being able to find a job when I graduate from college and being able to buy a 3 bed 2 bath house out in Ohio?

Well it depends on the degree but I would say pretty good. A $50K per yr income isn't hard to do anywhere in America with effort. Not saying it will be done the day you start but it CAN be done. I agree with Bruce Williams that if someone is willing to do what it takes anybody can make $50K per yr in America. It may take 2 jobs. It may take risk. It will certainly take effort but it can be done.

As to the Clintonista scandals I give the slickster credit for being the best politician ever born. Go back and study those 8 yrs and you will find that the Lewinsky scandal is the one they WANTED in the news. It was salacious. Everybody could understand it. It was far easier to report on than a banking scandal or land fraud deals. Those take WORK to investigate and effort to follow and understand. In America we want sound bite news as entertainment and Bubba was the king.

The Clinton thing is very true. I feel that Clinton didn't mind this being in the news considering all the other dirt that's on him. Other Presidents were known to have women on the side, so the public would be easy on him in these areas compared to the other things that he did. THe problem with making 50k in the Bay area is that it's impossilb to buy a home. YOu can rent or live live in an apartment but it's difficult to buy one, unless you decide to live in an area with high crime rate.

I hate to get personal LWW, but what type of work do you do? You don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but ofcourse you don't need me to tell you this. Do you live in a farm area or more of a city area?

I live in the Dayton area but am from SE Ky originally. I work very close to Wright Patterson AFB and am finance director of a co doing high 8 figures in sales per yr.

To me this is metropolitan. To you it is probably rural. The heartland of America is a different lifestyle than the People's Republic of California, and yes I have lived their although yrs back and not for long. Great climate. Interesting people. Weird govt and regulations IMHO.

I like that statement. People's republic of California. I don't know how I've lived here my whole life and still have common sense. I'm surprised that I still know rights and wrongs. It has gotten worse in California. DId you hear about the protestors in San Francisco that vomitted to show their anger and sickness towards the war. This going to draw a lot of people to their movement. Who wants to be around people that are throwing up and craping in the streets? Have you heard the statement U.S.S.A (United Social States of America). I was looking at houses in Ohio on the internet and couldn't believe the prices. 300k-400k were like 1.5 million to 2 million dollar homes where I live.

My brother was looking at another house around here and it was priced at 533K. This one was 2 bedroom and didn't need to be tore down, but the floor was buckling all over the place. The walls had been heavily patched and needed paint, it needed new rugs, new windows and had some dry rot damage on the back side of the house.

The only thing I fear is that I will want to move back to Ca. for the weather and for large # of technology stores and malls. The smog standards **** out here. They are going to raise the price to smog a car to around $70.00 because smog shops are required to use a new machine to smog cars.

Check these sites out. You probably aren't familiar with Gray Davis but he is Ca.'s governor. People are trying to recall him now. OUr state had a huge surplus, and now we have a huge deficit because he doesn't know how to budget. None of the voters could recognize all the problems that he caused us so they voted him back into office. Now there's a ton of people that want to recall him because he wants to raise taxes and start taxing all internet sales on people that live in ca. and buy over the internet.

I heard one person in the place where I was voting ask one of the volunteers how he should vote on certain initiatives. What's the point in trying to increase the number of voters in the U.S. if the increased votes are people that haven't taken any time to get informed.

I also heard a while back that we actually had pictures of the terrorist group and Sadam meeting together. But they could have been good friends right? Just because neither likes the U.S. much they wouldn't forget their differences and work together with funding to do terrorist acts in America. That is just out of the question. It can be thought of this way; after 9-11 most people left their political differences and came together or united and agreed that something had to be done about the terrorists. Wouldn't Sadam want to come together with other groups that disliked the U.S. for always breathing down their neck and bombing him back in dessert storm?
