According to WinISD, I thought that my tuning was around 32 HZ ish. While reading the forums, I realized that the volume value you enter in WINISD is net, not gross. Instead of the 2.8 cubes I entered before, my entire volume is 4.6 cubes. The approximate tuning would therefore be in the neighborhood of 25HZ. No onder the little 8s could hit lows lol...

Here is a quick sketchup of my box....

Originally, the box was a doubleshot designed for two assassins. However both of them didnt fit lol, therefore I hacked the box up and made into a ported enclosure for all four assassins. Can you guys give me the best approximation as to what my tuning is? Furthermore, how much of the port would I have to take off to achieve 32 HZ? Any other recomendations for tuning frequency? Ill probably keep the box as it is for now. I like the lows //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Ill change it once I have time...

Thanks in advance

box is about 2.8cuft tuned to about 35Hz
May I ask how you figured that out? I dont like WinISD.....always seemed unreliable to me...
Reit, for two type Rs its most likely WAY too small...

yea, each. I'm in the process of making a box for 2 12" R's that I'm hopin is around 4-4.5 cuft after all the displacements are figured in. I would have to say if the box is 2.8 cuft total, its defiately too small.

I think your front stage is spot on. If your DSP has a dongle that connects to your phone, then you are getting the full clear signal. No need to...

You could run that sub on a 4 channel amp and have 2 channels left for amping front speakers. I just put a small system in my brothers car with a...
