Never been to Chicago, but I've been to Buffalo a few times...
Lake effect snow can **** it.
yeah, they've closed schools here for an inch. i'm not complaining though hahaI hate to come across like this, but that's like a person from Alaska asking why people in the South go nuts when a few feet of snow fall //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
A "major snowstorm" here in NC can happen with a couple inches...when I lived in MA, we'd get 10+ feet/season.
It's all what you're used to.
this week its been 100 everday and raining, humidity was thick as hell and when it finally stopped raning it felt like being in a saunathe humidty is freaking ridiculous here. it can be 75 degrees and still feel hot outside. it's hard to even breath outside sometimes
100 degrees sucks humid or not.

I think the last recorded snowfall here was in '94 and it melted as soon as it hit the ground //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifyeah, they've closed schools here for an inch. i'm not complaining though haha
