8th generation civic big 3. I've checked out the civic sites and on here. but i can't find where to mount to my engine block? and i think i found where to mount to chassis. so if u have an 8th gen civic send me a pic of ur big 3 mounting places.

2ndly I've been told different ways of doing the big 3.

way 1) alt + to batt +, alt - to batt -, and then batt neg to engine block. (i think that one is wrong)

way 2) alt+ to batt +, batt - to chassis, then either batt neg to engine block or alt neg to engine block) which on the civic forum is said to be the same as my ****** block?

Any help would be appreciated. pics help even more. thanks.

i already have some 2/0 welding cable and 6 terminals.

Coming from someone who has not a single clue on how to car, or audio. I would say Bat + Alt +, Bat - Chassis, Alt case (alt -) to chassis OR Bat - to alt case/alt -

But wtf do I know

Alt+ to Bat+, Bat-to chassis then to engine block. OR Alt+ to Bat+, Bat- to chassis, Bat - to engine block. Either one will work.

I'm still not sure where i mount the neg to the engine block...

run the negative from the battery to the engine. there should be a bolt with nothing on it, or at least an empty hole that is able to be used.

or ground the alt bracket to the battery for the engine ground

and for the chassis ground just make a new one? or just unscrew any bold and put it under?
