I guess it's time to point out the obvious. There is no law in my state that prohibits me from loaning out my car with the knowledge that I will be responsible for any driving infractions they may incur while using my car. If they're going to do this, they should change the law saying I will be responsible.

No, you can fight the ticket if someone else is driving your car for the simple fact that there is no law saying if you loan someone your car you are responsible for their driving infraction. Now that the point.

I think you're thinking about how I could get sued if I loan someone my car and they get in an accident but that's completely different.

You must prove that I was driving during the infraction to ticket me. No if's, and's or but's. Get it?

I'm telling you that this law will be challenged for it's lack of due process.

When you get pulled over by a cop, the first thing they ask for is DL, reg, POI. They do this to verify you're you. With license plate only cameras this isn't done.

Had camera's here too for years. They just started enforcing them more in my town. My next door neibor's daughter has had three tickets mailed to her in less then 2 months driving lol!

What does kinda **** is, what if I wasnt the one driving? My lisence plate is tied to my DL, but say my little brother is driving my truck? Why should I have to pay? Only real flaw I see.
