i just got a freaking speeding ticket

61 in a 45. i was like wtf. it was on a back road, and the speed limit changed real quick for a sharp turn. on top of that, copper tagged me for a tail light out. he said he'd drop if i showed a receipt that it was fixed at my court date. this is my first ticket too, you think it'll get dropped? im really pissed off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif .

Ah well.....I doubt it will get dropped completely (the speeding ticket, anyway)...but show up to court with a receipt showing you fixed your tail light and plead your case with the judge about the speeding ticket and I wouldn't be surprised if he knocked the fine down some.

i hadda 86 in a 65 dropped down to a parking ticket!

my boy works in a gas station.. hooks it up with receipts that say "broken speedometer" on it

too bad the parking ticket was $200 tho

Although I do know it really depends on where you live

in Connecticut almost any ticket you fight can get dropped in a snap

It's not bad getting a ticket...just the upped insurance after a few tickets

check your laws...some states this can make the ticket voidable if it is not posted on it. Also, make sure EVERYTHING on the ticket is fully correct including name, address, color of car, etc.

for speeding tickets in FL they do...read the whole ticket and see if it should be posted there.

You're ****ed, your insurance will either go up double or you'll be dropped.

I got the exact same thing for my first and only ticket sept mine was end of a 55 into a 40 on a hill and i was clutch coasting
