The reason the spending is so High in that chart is because we are in a war so our spending is going to be way up there. The others are lower because they are not in a war.

Idiot, you can't win a war with no enemy. If we did what we did with japan, it wouldnt have been a problem , the fact that they don't wanna do that is why we are still in there.

Did you happen to see the missile defense system blow up the decaying satellite in orbit? It was very impressive

Actually we took over Iraq faster than any country has taken over another country before iirc. Back when George Bush said we have won the war was when we took control of Iraq, now we are in the process of rebuilding Iraq and setting up their government.

Why because Im stating my OPINION on this subject and it dosent agree with your's? I want america to be the world leader but right now its kinda in the craper. Enlistment is way down in all branches of the military and people dont want to fight for out president anymore. Its kinda sad to say the least

Been in the military for a long time now, and yes we are the world's super power. Who cares if Chinas has three times the soldiers we do, we have Air Power that is second to none do you know one us carrier could defeat most contries by themselves with a shock and aww display.

Speaking of aircraft carriers did anyone ever own the GI-Joe aircraft carrier? It was like 7 feet long and realistic as hell. I always wanted one of those... Ok sorry for getting off subject just made me remember those things

Dependence on Oil is a global problem, but that doesn't mean we can't do anything about it and i think inflation is a problem we can solve as well. Spending is a another matter, but I do think we (American Dollar) can lower inflation.

Dependence on oil is not a solvable problem, in my opinion. There are no alternative fuels that don't have other drastic problems associated with them. For example, many have been touting ethanol as the next great alternative fuel. The reality is that production of ethanol is not particularly efficient. Worst of all, growing corn uses nutrients in the ground. We are already starting to experience nutrient deprivation due to not allowing crops to go to summerfallow for a season or two. So how do we solve this problem? Simple: we use fertilizers. But guess what? Fertilizers require oil and natural gas to produce!
