Is this sub wiring correct(picture)?

You just answered my question. It was a little hard for me to put my words together. See I have dual 4 ohm subs and I have them wired to 2 ohms each and I connected each sub positive and negative together and hooked them to one side of thet amp. I just wanted to make sure I had it connected right.

See with my sundown 1000 it has two + and two -. And that is what was confusing me a little.

hey i have a mono amp like that to! why not and save wire and just hook both subs up like a normal mono amp. it will save u wire! thats what i did

well i had plenty of 16 gauge wire. got a picture of the both subs wired up like a normal mono amp that you're talking about? just curious

Looks fine. Actually a lot of mono amps give you two sets of speaker terminals. It's just to make wiring easier..

FWIW, go to walmart and get the $10 multi-meter and check the resistance of the wires at the amp. That'll tell you for sure your right. Plus it's a good tool to have.

yea everything's all good. i adjusted the amp so it read 34.5 volts on the multi meter. this is less louder than my previous setting but sounds a little better.

yea you can wire it to either + or - or + - + - its all the same
