Is this picture photoshopped?

It was posted on a hunting forum..Supposedly the picture was taking with a trail camera, right as the guy released his arrow. Every time an unusual picture is posted, people go around screaming photoshop on the forum.

The pic does not look photoshopped to me, but I guess it could be done. I have no experience with photoshop and know several of you do..

So is it, or is it not?

see thru deer? it's fake.

there would be a very defined shadow from that arrow judging by the rest of the light on the deer. If the arrow was just shot, it's already in the deer with blood spatter that looks like it occured with the deer laying down, IMO.

there's also the deer on the left of the photo too.

As for the transparent tail, I have several pictures myself of deer on motion that appear

"ghostly" or "transparent". Its just due to the slow shutter speeds on these cameras.

Why else would a dear jump that randomly? Besides the flash I guess...

I think regardless of daylight or not those camera's flash when taking pictures.

do deer jump that high when getting arrow shot through them?

looks pretty real. though one question is do those trail cams have flash on them? i wouldn't think they would because it would scare deer away no?

If it was laying flat it's antlers would be turned and the head wouldn't be forward though....

They won't jump at the flash. I have my camera set up where it takes 2 pictures about 5 seconds apart when it is triggered. Does don't even pay it any attention. Bucks on the other hand are usually staring at the camera after the first flash goes off.

Yeah, they will jump that high when arrowed or when they get a bullet through them. Most of the older bucks move at night only until the rut, so the flash enables us to get pictures of them. They do have infrared cameras out now with no flash. They are more $$ though. And we know flash CAN spook older bucks. We got one picture of a HOSS 2 years ago, and that was it. one picture. But most of the deer come back.
