SAZ1500D Sundown, is it enough juice for an RE MT 15 DVC2 ?? E doesnt have the wattage posted in tech info....

Also, if it isnt enough, How to I "strap" or "link" as ive heard it called both of my SAZ1500's to this sub or can I..?? Thanks in advance..

it will push it but the MT can take more...even if that amp is really overrated it will put out 1800-1900, and the MT can take 3000w or so. As for the straping I have no idea, sorry.

you can not strap those amps to that speaker w/o going below it's rated warrenty.

you can hook up 1 amp to the speaker to 1 ohm and get your 1500w but the sub itself will want more.

if you want to strap 2 amps to 1 speaker you are going to need a DVC1, and wire it to 2ohm.

if you do take the DVC2 and strap your amps together for a 1ohm load, each amp will be seeing .5ohm which you would need a beefy electrical to handle plus you will be going below warrenty on the amps.

The MT is a purely competition sub so there are no specs really for it. I've seen 10kw to them and seen them blown with a lot less.

Take care and set your gains properly and you should be fine.

BTW, the bigger the box, the less power you'll need.

Im prett beefy with my elec' right now.. 1/0, three yellow tops, big 3... Im safe there...

Woud you not reccommend this sub for a DD... I have plenty of room, no prob fittin a 6 cube box.. Just want to make sure the 1500 is enough as i have plans for my other 1500... Hmmm...
