Well that's a little better, I didn't want to hook it up at all but if you think it'll be ok than i'll try it. But still he knew this and didn't let me know! Shady. Thank you for your help.

Just some food for thought ......maybe it was sold to the other guy like that? Maybe he just ran it and never opened it up? Maybe I missed some key info in the thread.

I would put a dmm on the + and - terminals. Set the dmm to do continuity and make sure there is none between the 2.

*IF* there is none, then you can try and power up the amp and see what happens. If there is, well something is dead....

It was noticeable that somebody was prying on it to open it. That told me better look into it to see why someone would want into it. These are a little different to open the top clips into the bottom. He had to know if not than he don't care much about his stuff. I look over everything to look for anything thats not right.
