Is This Amp Worth It?

I found a Rockford Fosgate T10001D for sale locally for $100. It needs a fuse, but works fine. I'm thinking of getting it to run one of my RE HC-12s (the other one will be run by an Avionixx 1200.2). Let me know what you guys think. I know, I prefer to have matching amps, but I can't find another Avionixx amp and its for my son's car, so he doesn't care.

If it works that is a good deal...maybe try to run both subs off that 1 amp if the coil configs are appropriate

Sounds like a good deal, make sure it works!

Just don't run each sub off of a different amp like that, subs would probably be out of phase.....Use the most powerful amp on them.

Well, my subs are dual 2 ohm, so I'm limited to either a 2 ohm or .5 ohm load (I know I could run them at 8 ohm, but what's the point). I know its not ideal to run each sub on a different amp, but I can match their output pretty closely by adjusting the gains. They put out similar power, so it shouldn't be to much different.

throw the 1k on them at .5 with rise youll be at 1

sounds like a good deal for 100 as long as it works, like already stated wire it for .5 ohm it may rise and be closer to 1ohm

those amps are bad about the built in fuse holder coming unsoldered...but they are good amps when working...you could probably double your money on it if its in good shape
