i have run my kenwood kac929's at 2 ohm mono even thought they werent rated for it. they were a little warmer than id like but they had fans and didnt go into protect once. typically kenwoods are like this. you could try it but if it blows up dont blame me. technically they are not 2 ohm mono stable as per your user manual.
