I wouldn't say that All Hifonics amps are budget amps. there xx line are very nice amps. They just cater to people that don't want to spend a shit load and people willing to spend money and looking for real power.

ran alphasoniks amps for a long time this paticular amp is a hell of an amp. u can find it cheaper that sonics but its a very good amp.

everyone says the thing between audiobahn and alphasonik to me personally i was skeptic also b/c of that but its much better quality. and the new line of the alphasniks reveiws very good at ces.

well i'm on a budget so i'm looking for a budget amp lol. hence the one i posted and the the price/power ratio, thats why i asked if it really did what it said. i'm pretty much gonna be lookin to spend ~500 on a solid 22-2500 RMS @ 1 ohm.

IF thats the case you can spend 450$ On a pair of amps. My american bass cx100.1s will do 2400@1ohm, 1200 each and they are solid amps, they rank ALOT higher then crunch and so fourth, I would rank these with DD, Kicker, Memphis

Here's my opinion on the Alphasonik PMA1200DA's: (note: I've designed well over 50 systems with this amplifier.)

They are not the best amps in existence. However, they do good power...not exact...but close to their ratings. Remember, D class amps have high distortion, so on a D Class vs D Class amp...you will not here the different...especially at high power. The amp is clean looking...with a plexiglass on top making it an easy show quality amp. But the best thing about Alphasonik is their warranty. If you're not buying it from an authorized dealer...then don't buy it at all. And don't fall for the "warranty through sonic electronix" bs. You never know...they could have repaired it themselves and return you a working amp with different parts. You can always buy product from an authorized dealer for a lot less than msrp...and only a little over internet pricing...but it's well worth it.
