New jl black amps

Does anybody know how, or where I can get the black covers for my old silver amps? Im shure tweeter would want as much as the amp costs new, if they would even order it for me. Theres got to be somebody out there that has connections that can hook me up. Thanks, Chuck

i don't think they are covers. i think it is a completely different amp, not sure though.

They're the same amps, just different color. I doubt they will sell the pieces needed to change the color though. Looks like you would have to basically replace the entire case.

Powder coating would cover over all the info on the back of the amp. I already thought of that. I want it bad but not bad enought to buy 2 amps again.

Uhhh, you remove the heatsink from the amp and have just that piece powdercoated. You don't run the whole amp through the oven!

Your info on the back of the amps will be safe at home until you get the heatsinks back.

The heatsink is already black, its the aluminum cover plate that I want to be black.
