is this amp any good???

My buddy wants to sell this to me for my wife's car, and I never used or heard a system w/ this kind of amp. He says it does a true 2200+ watts @ 1 ohm, but I doubt it. Its a Kole Audio QX1-3000D

Please let me know. I dont have a link, but I googled that part # and got some hits.

yeah i have a friend who is about to power one of his treo 18"s with it. It is made by power acustik and has the exact same ratings as the PA 3000DB, shouldnt be bad but it might be a tiny bit over rated
