i've heard the same from alot of people when i was in the research stage before buying mine. i talked to him and nate on the phone before deciding on one

there are some good ones on e-bay for cheap, I think BOSS LOAD is the person my cousin got his from, I installed it for him and it works great, I think its a 250 amp and he payed less than 300 for it... just type the name of you vehicle then alternator and it should come up...

Myself i rather not get one off ebay for the fact if somethign is wrong with it theres less likelyhood of getting it fixed
