Is this a reasonable deal on an alternator?

It's much cheaper than H-O alternators and that's without the groupbuy.

I asked for a quote at H-Oalternators, they asked for 620 for a 200amp. alternator.

you guys arent even going to be paying 400 for most of EA's alts. And if you have a problem the guy will talk you through it on the phone personally

yes he will!!! avoid dominick at all cost. he is the biggest scam in car audio...

if you want a POS at an expensive price, he is the way to go. if you want something good for less, there are plenty of other options..

Not disagreeing with you, because i heard a few dissapoiting stories about his alternators.

yea im waiting on a big check and not sure if im getting another of the same car or getting somethign else, so if i get the same car i wanna put it on that one instead. if not when i sell it off for 200 i dont have to take it off of anything and i can really say its "like new " lol

some people have had problems with dom irragi alts, but alot have had good luck, the alt will most likely cost more form him then EA thoguh

Not disagreeing with you, because i heard a few dissapoiting stories about his alternators.

i paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $450 for my 240 amp alt from him. he shipped it to me, it was DOA, i paid to ship it back, he went me a functioning one. that 240 amp alt NEVER put out more then 95 amps, and then just over two months after in installed it it died. i again paid to ship it back to him, he said he was going to give me a second free alt to compensate for all the hassles and everything, and the fact that the same day i ordered mine he put all of his alts on sale for 1/2 off and still charged me full price... i never recieved said second alt. and i also never bothered to re-install the alt on my vehicle as it was a PITA and i feel confident that his inferior alternator would only fail me again.

dealing with him is like pulling teeth, when you can get a response. his products are inferior, at best, and very pricey. his business manner is very shadey, he lies, blatantly to make you feel better. communication with him is the absolute worst. he will only respond to emails before he has your money, after he has your money he will cease communication... he completely ripped me off, and i know that i am not the only one...
