somebody gave me a broken electric scooter. i was wonder if i could safely use one or 2 or all three of the 12v batteries it has to power a amplifier?

Power the amp to test? Last night I powered an amp with a battery jump pack and drove around listening to the subwoofer for a few minutes.

Depending on the size of the scooter, it could have a (relatively) large electric motor, and therefore the batteries would have to be able to provide a high current flow.

scooter batteries are usaully not that high amperage wise, but have a longer amp hours rating, the motors for scooters aernt usaully all that big, they use gear gear multiplication usaully with a small motor, found all this out when I started hookin up my daughters Power Wheels, when i was digging for cheap batteries for it.

I dont quite understand... are you just looking for a cheap cap, or something you could power an amp mobily like a mini hifi with batteries?

can you beleive those suckers use R/C car motors! Needless to say after I found out this and that they are 12v it has motors swapped and neon in it, it pulls the front wheels off the ground when she hits the pedal in high gear lol
