Finally started Everything, but Rear Speakers don't work?

After a month of consistent work, it's almost done... Speakers sounded great, the subwoofer was playing but it wasn't really going up and down a lot or being really loud though...

Also, one problem is that the rear speakers don't work... I used the stock wiring so the wires are in the harness. Do I have to turn them on through the headunit or something? I pushed through the modes and didn't see a rear speaker setting...

The reason your rear speakers arn't playing is because your system is telling you something....."don't use the rear speakers it will ruin the staging......"

Someone suggested messing around with the Fader on the HeadUnit, could that be it?

Be prepared for distortion when you crank it up...

Alright, what headunit do you have? Are you sure you have the wires connected properly through the headunit's harness & the radio harness? That's pretty much all it could be if there's nothing else trying to power them.

I have an Alpine 9857, I triple checked the wiring on the harness and it is correct

When you crank up the music your rear speakers will distort before the others because they're ran off the h/u, which yields a higher THD and is more prone to clipping. You can set your stereo up to get around this, but I'm willing to bet you didn't.

Everything else turns on, correct? Just not the rear speakers? Are you sure they're not disconnected somehow? Maybe you unhooked them when you installed something? I dunno...you should only have those wires to worry about on the harness and if the h/u powers up fine, my only solution would be to check the wiring to the speakers. First get a DMM and see what kind of voltage (and if there's any at all) to the rear speakers.
