i was at best buy the other day looking for a new radio and the guy said that for 40 dollars more i could get a 4 year warranty and if anything happend to it they would replace it with a new one within the 4 years. I know best buy dosent have the chepest stuff but with this kind of warranty is this something worth considering?

Get the brochure and read the fine print. Double-check the "if anything happens to it" and the "replace it with a new one" part. It's probably more like "if certain things happen to it" they'll "either send it in for repair or replace it, their option".

just dont let them install, we have botched installs come from there every other day, and they have a problem and best buy needs 2 days notice to get something looked at.

they do some shitty shitty shitty work over there, electrical tape, no crimp connections, ghetto work.
