is this a good amp

iv desided not to go with sony iv got 2 legacy 1600 watt 2 channle amps http://www.legacycaraudio.com/itempage.asp?model=LA1490

would it sound good hooked up at 2ohm should i bridge the subs or just hook one as right and one as left the only thing is im thinking about a good cdplayer i want one that will do mp3s and cd's im thinking about a sony cdplayer i do have 2 1100 watt sony xplod 12" sub's and thos are what i wanna hook to the legacy amps any ideas.

so far nothing you mentioned is really any good. those subs won't handle 1100 true watts nor does that amp put out 1600 true watts.

Start your mobile audio education here and let go of the thought that Legacy is an option. Legacy is just about the worst you could buy. There is a lot of good products out there for a reasonable price if you know where to look.
