Is this a factory amp?

I'm trying to take my sub out and was wondering whether this was the little amp for it?

Its either an amp or the ECU for the engine control systems.

You might want to trace the wires, or at least check the color coding coming off that unit and the colors of the speaker wires attached to the factory sub.

It looks like an amp though.

Well this amp is located on the little sealed enclosure right next to the sub, so I wouldn't think that is the ECU.

What's weird is that I took all of the screws out of the sub and it still won't come out of the box.

they were sealed in as well with an epoxy.

Yeap, we have removed a few of them. think there is one in the shop now that needs to go in the trash.
