Violator of Terms
This is what I am looking for and I will describe the best I can...
Pretend you had a piece of plexiglass that has pretty stiff, yet could conform to groves and less than 1/8" thick, and be able to be adhered to mdf.
What I am trying to do is fill in the area around where i am placing a ring. The hole in the door is too wide. I will have to cut some around the top, but in a left to right dimension, it is wider than the ring. I am looking for something I can place under the ring that will conform to all the edges and still be somewhat stiff.
My initial thoughts are to place a sheet of plexiglass with a whole cutout with dimensions slightly under the hole in the door....then use deadener on both sides to make sure it is sealed.
Is this a good method...would pics be better to describe what I am trying to do? Does such a product exist?
