i dont think that anything can come close to the rainbow refs (http://www.rainarc.com/component_reference_2way6.htm). the tweeters are hand-milled, and they play down to some insane frequency for a tweeter. absolutely amazing product...and i might be able to hear a set soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

For that much money, you'd be better off buying a set or two of Kicker components for 1/30 of that price, and spending the rest on having Gary Biggs tune your system or something....

The Alumapro's are IMO better than the utopias.....and to go out and spend 6k on a set of speakers that are just marginally better (most people can't even tell the diff) is a waste.
