Is there a way to measure your box so it fits threw the trunk whole?

?? i just got done buliding a box and didnt bother thinking about the trunk opening...i got the box 3/4 in but the other 1/4 wouldnt fit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif (had to try to put it in at an angle)...i got a honda civic and the measurments i had for the box were 40x20.75x15...any help will be apreciated...

word.... i usually go down to a bicycle shop and get a box they get bikes shipped it.

they're big enought to cut some panels out and make a dummy box.

Do something like that with separate boxes. Those are 1.5 net or a little over 2 cubes before displacement each.

Slide them in one at a time and you can get decent airspace. Those could have been slightly larger. I think you can get around 5 cubes gross in that year Civic without building into the trunk.

its possible to use some simple trig to figure it out but im to lazy to write up an equation now so unless someone else wants to your gonna have to use cardboard. Or if your too lazy to make a cardmoard mock up box you could just cut out a side profile of your box and stick it in and see if i passes and get pretty close. Figure out how Tall you want your box, then cut out a strip of cardboard that wide. Then cut that piece shorter and shorter the other way until it fits in the trunk vertically. Take off about an inch for clearance and youve got your max size. Make sure it goes all the way left to right not just in the middle of your trunk.

As close to 2 cubes net each as possible.

33-35 hertz tuning.
