Why don't you? C'mon, chop chop..I don't know there business model in depth, nor do I know their capacities for building, but by not having a non-electronic method of contact it lowers over head costs. If they make very little $$ on direct sales, but are futher spreading fixed costs over a larger quantity it lowers the break even point on other products.
Yeah, that's probably it. School messes with your head way too much...If scott had to hire somebody to answer phones all day long for Fi, it would raise there cost and they would either have to raise there prices, or discontinue the brand, since they only have to answer Emails, its really not that big of an expense and they can talk during their downtime.
Besides 80% of there customers could care less if they have a phone number, until they have a problem after the sell. By then they already sold there product so they are forced to talk via email.
I would imagine that they believe that the number of sales they lose by not having a phone number is less than what it would cost for them to hire someone, hence why they don't have the contact.
Or I could just be full of BS from 4 years of business courses... who knows.
