Click to expand... i have 4/0 and 1/0 welding cable and it springs back very well.i think the 4/0 could kill somebody if it hit them in the head LOL... id say the HD wire is solid thats why it holds its bends. what kinda amp you wiring up?

Click to expand... HD's 4 gauge is definitely stranded. I had the HD guy roll it down to me see I could handle it. Started to count the strands but got side-tracked ... Alpine PDX-5 due in on Wednesday ... That's why I'm not in a huge hurry ...
