Is the Memphis Belle MCH1300 what I need?

I'm running Kicker KS front componets, 5.25s in doors and tweeters in dash, with their own xover, and KS 6x9 3 ways in the back, with 2 Kicker 12" dvc CompVR's, each are 4ohm per coil. Run each in parallel then parellel together would equal a 1 ohm load just for the sub channel, right? The MCH1300 puts out 1100w rms at 1ohm and 4x75 at 4 ohm. Is this the strongest 5ch amp for the money or is there anything else you would recommend? I'm actually wired for 2 amps, just curious if there is a better/more powerful idea or if this would be the best amp for the app. I'm not looking to compete, but I do want to push the 12's with what they can handle, I belive they are only rated at 400rms though, not sure.

That amp would actually sound really good in your car with your setup. If you wanna stay with one amp, then thats the one to go with. I'd do it.

i haven't heard of any issues personally, but just to be safe, go with an older version. Those are pretty much bulletproof.

I had the MCD1300 and it was just about bulletproof. That amp was great in every aspect of functionality.

I've heard that Memphis is a really nice 5 channel, but if you're looking for other options, and can come across one used, I'd recommend this one....

I know of a few belles that had issues. Old and new, I had a new one and had some issues with it. I know 2 people with old ones that had issues with them as well.

I'd look for a DLS A5 (2x85, 1x780 @ 1 ohm) and just run the 6x9's off of your HU

Hmm..interesting..turns out the 1300 I was looking at is no longer for sale, but I'm sure I could find one if I look some more. I've had a couple guys tell me that its much better to have 2 separate power supplies, meaning to run 2 amps. I was just looking to save a little cash if a nice 5ch would do it, but I don't want an amp with issues whatsoever. That new Elemental Designs nine.5 really looks nice though. My local dealer is trying to sell me on the RF Power series amps, maybe the T400-2 on the subs and the T400-4 on the mids/his, what do you guys think of these amps? Thanks much for the replies, I'm looking for good knowledge on amp selection. I like to do it right the first time, but I'm not looking to enter competitions or anything like that, great SQ and serious power if I want to crank some Pantera or Three 6 lol. Thanks again.

Get a power 1000. Specs are close to the belle but it doesnt have the rca or cooling issues the belle has. Its not that big either.

The T powers are way underrated so watch out.

Are you talking about that 25 to life series amp? Can you give me a basic idea what that amp is about? I checked it out on the RF site, seems nice. Anyone here use one? What about the issue of 2 separate power supplies?

I just got mine last week and i love it more than the belle.

It has normal amp imputs, single ground and single power.

That's weird, I can't find one anywhere online for sale. Something like 2500 units were made and that was 05. Any ideas?

The only place to get one is ebay, they were only made in 05.
