Well this is odd....I called the guy and he said "that box is bigger than .8....it's .984"...i said how are you coming up with that number...he said "internal dimensions of 18.5x11.5x8avg/1782=.984"...OK so the question is...he subtracted 1.5 from the width and height, but not the depth. The box is external 20"w....13"h...top depth 6"....bottom depth 10"....so they way I'm doing the math is 18.5x11.5x6.5avg/1728=.77 - .0963 of displacement = .679....why is he not subtracting the 1.5" of total wood thickness from the depth measurement?
