Is the big 3 going to be enough?

2 12" Pioneer Premier 3004's (1000rms per sub)

Power Acoustik a2400db (1800x1@1ohm)

Wired to 1 ohm with each sub getting 900 rms (approx, considering over-rating)

Panasonic 8100 Headunit

Will the big 3 be enough to avoid massive strain on my electrical system? or am I going to be needing a new alternator/battery down the line?

Yes the alternator is 80amps

Amp is over-rated and was benched at around 1250/1300x1 @1ohm

With the big 3, assuming I don't listen full volume all day, do you think my alternator will survive atleast until xmas?

i got ~1800 watts on my 120 amp alternator with the big 3, still getting dimming at high volumes, but i don't crank it too often. 80 amps is pretty small though.. probably gonna need a new alt like the people said.

It might. Get it installed right - it won't hurt to try. It's not like it will go up in flames instantly.

I ran around 1000w rms with a 75A alt that had about 200k miles on it. Took it around 2 yrs to finally give up.
