Get some old Powerbase subs and ull be happy, especially the Xtremes. To this day the old PBX was the most amazing SPL sub I have heard...

i own 3 of those pbx's your talking about //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif great stuff and like others have said new stuff is nowhere near as good as old stuff. i have experience with just about everything they have made

maybe they are saying they are the Base of Power... I think that actually makes more sense then Power Bass, what does that even mean?

Power Bass meaning like powerful bass possibly idk im just glad to know i didnt buy some sort of cheap subwoofer cuz i have two pbx 12s in my car and they are amazing but now im goin to add 4 of these 10s and i hope that it is absolutely ear deafning but any recomndations as to help with power supply i heard capicitors are pretty much garbage and dont do much so i was thinking about getting a deep cycle second battery any suggestions

I was told that it was spelled Powerbase on accident. I was told at SBN by a guy at the PB booth that Powerbase was originally supposed to be Powerbass but the people in china spelled it base because "bass" is a fish. So many things were made with Powerbase on it that it would have been a redundant to redo everything with the correct spelling. Everyting was printed wrong from the literature, stickers, packaging and products. It was only called Powerbase until the original inventory ran out.

thats pretty funny if thats true...lol... to that , i still have some powerbase tweeters mounted in my doors they sound pretty good still.......
