Is PowerbasE a Knock off of PowerBasS

I recently bought two 10 inch PowerbasE subwoofers and i was wondering if these were knock off of regular powerbasS subwoofers or why are the spelled differently

they are the same thing....i heard the name changed due to some legal issues

When did it change and which way from Bass to Base or the other way around. But will they still work the same? And if they changed from Base to Bass Y would they have spelled it like that in the first place? Also when i google it i cant find them anywhere

The Powerbase name was introduced first

I used to have 2 powerbass 15s and they hit pretty good.

but y would they name their company powerbase after all they sell items to produce BASS y wouldnt they have thought of that idea to begin with also when i search for the model number i cant find anything except where i bought it from but i thought maybe there was a name change and these subs were old because they have stickers on them dated 2004 but all the subs sold are brand new in box

Powerbase was first, and from personal experience they are better than Powerbass...

maybe they are saying they are the Base of Power... I think that actually makes more sense then Power Bass, what does that even mean?

Get some old Powerbase subs and ull be happy, especially the Xtremes. To this day the old PBX was the most amazing SPL sub I have heard...
