2 18" FI BTL or 4 Kicker 15" L7

Which subs will be louder? What do you guys think? I have 2 Kicker Kx2500.1's that I will be using.

Well what kind of vehicle that can have alot to play with it to but if your choosing between 2 18s or 4 15s then space shouldnt be a problem???

id do the 15s cuz thats what im already doing but the 2500s will be more power than the subs are rated for 2500 divided into 2 is over 1000wrms by far. id just wire all 4 together and get a 3500 or so wrms amp at 1 ohm. would be so much better.

we know those amps arnt just gonna do the 2500wrms

This setup will be going into a 2004 Lincoln Navigator. So there will be plenty of space.

i dont have enuff room to wall it so i have to clamshell. ur gonna wall the 4 L7s that shit will be hair standing nasty. i had 2 of the L7s in a regular box with a zx1500 on them and it was amazing. u do 4 and zomg it will be insane all 4 wired to 1ohm. im doing 5cu/ft each after all the displacements.

Wow this thread is poop. The 15's have an obvious advantage but its all install depended. However, either setup would be excellent off two ZX2500s.......

We do 4 R.E SX 18s in a 04 and that thing would hit some lows also it was tuned to 32 Hz we had it with subs forward ports to the back.

BTW OP i went from 4 15" Kicker L5's in 17 cubes tuned 37hz too 2 18" RE SX's and honestly GOT LOUDER!!!!! maybe it was an flaw in my install but these 2 18s murdered the 4 4L5's by far and by the way i have less power going to the 18's!!!

No shit!! I actually had 2 15" L7's connected to a RF T20001bd and it was loud but heard someone else that hit a little harder than my setup than I found out he had only 2 12" RE Sx Connected to a RF 1000bd. Then again I had a shitty prefab box. But believe or not I actually am going with the FI BTL 18"'s.
