is my subwoofer blown

How can i tell when its blow..

When i have it going, i hear rattling noises, some are from the windows, and just today i discovered them comming from the bottom right corner of my subwoofer box.. just like somethings in there moving around because of the bass.

Its a Truck Box..

sub: kicker cvt12

amp: kicker 400.1 zx or soemthing

pull the sub out and look around in there first... does it still get loud?

That might be it. My tdx 15 broke my box and it sounded blown.

I will take a look @ the box tommorrow. If it is commign apart, how can i fix it. i didnt put it together and its carpeted, it was prebuilt.

I'm not so sure pre-fabs are worth trying to fix. Most use this 5/8's flake board stuff that just kind of disintegrates where it breaks. But hey it may not be the box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

What part of east texas you from? I used to live at Sam Rayburn lake.
