Is my car audio system good?

so I dont need to change the rear ones even when we know they are kind of old I just need to change front unit and sound proofing yes?that is enough?it is loud now I want to be more detail and more clearer.you know?

Your not going to need 2 sets in the front unless you want this to be a competition car. I would just find one nice set and power them by an amp. As long as you get 50+ rms I'm sure it'll be loud enough for yah. But I definitely also recommend sound deadening as mylows did. It helps more than you would expect.

Well, since you have non stock rears I would leave them as is right now, but hook them back up to the head unit. You could re use your 2 channel for your front stage. As for brands, I'm not your person to ask. I've had pioneers and polks, liked both. I think Polk is better. But I would find someone else to get suggestions for that, or you could find a local audio store to go and check some out.

There are local socal people on here that can meet up with you and give you opinions. I'd recommend looking up sound quality competitions and going to a few to see what setups are the best. Your budget and time spent putting work into a proper install will determine how good and quality your car will sound.

Start off with a pair of components for your fronts and have the rear speakers run off head unit power while putting your amp to your new front components. I'd recommend these since they are on sale JBL P660C 6.5" Power Series Component Speakers System, great budget set and will work fine on your current amp.

If you want to spend more money then that then there's hertz hsk line, JL audio C5, audison voce, dynaudio etc.. well above 300 dollars new for all of em and you'll need a better amp too because they need better power then your current amp.

This is what they meant by sound deadening. There are 9 parts, read all of them.

Do you have something against buying online? Because you can find online stuff that stores wont carry that are alot better. Right now you are looking at basic comsumer prpducts. Online is a whole nother world of audio to be found. All you need is your 80prs in network mode(active) a good component set for your front doors properly deadened, a sub in a proper enclosure and 2 quality amps. Youll have just 2 tweeters, two mids, and one sub. Im sure youll be happy

I went online but I dont know which one is good and I gonna like.I went for polk bose pioneer sony jbl rockford etc but I dont know which one but I gonna wait for a week I have to because my check is in the next week until then I gonna come here and see all your opinion then I gonna just do it.which amp you think I have to buy?

that looks like a prefab box, I would totally swap that box out for a proper custom box. Too little port area, Biggest mistake of car audio is to cheap out on a box by buying a pre-made one. If you have some tools, you can build a ported box yourself, http://www.srtforums.com/forums/f40/official-free-ported-box-plans-56k-no-435910/ These are free designs and cutout sheets. Just buy the wood, have the home depot guys cut it for you, glue and screw then have a friend/relative with a jigsaw cut out the hole and viola you are done with a much better box. Most important part of every bass system is how good the enclosure is.

Swap out that amp with an alpine 2k or kicker 2k, they make power at 2 ohms, more efficient and will get you the power you need. Because i'm currently running Hifonics myself, I would recommend people spending more for better quality. The amp works but there's a world of difference when compared to a real amp like a soundqubed 2200.1d .

For bass, This site has some of the best competition level bass gear out there that will walk all over ALL the brands you listed. Both in sound quality and loudness wise. This site does not sell any garbage you'll see on a lot of other sites, they pretty much filtered out all the bad cr*p and everything is quality. Lets just say the sundown entry level line will stomp out the best sub kenwood, sony and pioneer has on the market atm.

for speakers, hertz, focal, JL, dynaudio, audison, scanspeak, rainbow, morel are some of the best for sound quality. You can go with amazon on this or make a WTB section on the classifieds and we have vendors that can help you out picking the best for your budget.

for sound deadening, if you are on a budget, i'd recommend stinger expert roadkill. If you want the best then get second skin's damplifier pro. Those both will sh*t all over dynamat in quality and pricing.

You DO NOT NEED components in the back, that guy is just milking you for your money. The best world class sound quality systems focus mainly on the front stage. You can have an active network or just passive components with the 80 prs. If you are new to active crossover networks, then i'd recommend you sticking with regular components with passive crossovers first. If you dont know what components are its a 6.5 inch midrange for each door and a small tweeter for the highs/treble in either the a pillar or sail panels or door panels. I'd recommend reading up on active vs passive on google or around car audio sites.

Spend on a good pair of front component speakers you can either go sonicelectronix, woofersetc or as recommended, Make a Wanting to Buy (WTB) threat in the WTB section of the forums and you'll have our forum expert vendors help you out.

You can always upgrade the back later, but the front is the most important, get it done first. If you try to do both on a budget, you'll end up with weak speakers for both front and back and you'll end up having to upgrade again in the future.
