Is my amp blown??????

Several weeks ago i put a Rockford fostgate punch amp in my bmw. today when i was driving home i realized there was no bass(well only stock base) so when i got home i opened up the trunk and started checkin. first i checked my connections (amp to sub, power to amp, ground to amp, remote to amp) all were hooked up. next i checked my fuse(it wasn't blown) finally i pulled out a voltimeter and checked signal. the amp is receiving a 12V signal from both the bat and the remote. I noticed that none of the of the lights on the amp are on(power,protect). so i took the voltimeter and tested the outs to the speaker and it isn't sending any signal. Does anyone have any idea whats wrong with it or is it blown, or...... i don't know... Thx for the help

if you have really done all that then it is pretty safe to say it is indeed the amplifier.

what kind of amp is it, and what speaker(s) was it pushing. also what kind of music were you listening to before it stopped working.

its a 250W rockforde fostgate punch. was pushing a sony explode. Yeah i know... not the most glorious set up out there but hey, it works......errr.... well did. I mostly listen to rock a little rap. i guess i shoulda expected it. i wsa really looking for more bas when i put it in this car so i had it at its max gain, (only 80 hz or hz whatever the crossover is measured in). Yeah i came here for help because i know a little about audio, i can install it and what not and i know how it works, but i've learned from many a car forums that the best way to fix an unkown problem is find a forum with a bunch of peps who know more than me...... Lot cheaper than payin someone to tell me what i already think happened........

Well thx for the help and i guess it's time to upgrade...
