Is my amp blown?

Well, I was out doing some testing on the Stetsom 2k6 the other day (got some decent numbers - 2925 watts at 0.95 ohms), and at the end of testing I decided to do one more tone, and as I did it the amp went into protect. So I went inside and let it cool off for a few hours and came back out and turned on my car to check out the amp and I'm getting a nice blue power light. However, I'm not getting any bass.

So I turned on a test tone and turned it up the volume and I hooked up my DMM and clamp. The DMM was reading fine, telling me that the AC voltage was unaffected and still where I set my gains to with that particular tone. However, the clamp meter showed there was no current coming from the amp going to the speaker.

Well, I was hoping it was just the blown inline fuse, but I can't easily get to that fuse to check. So I'm asking if that test I did that shows there is AC voltage but no AC current indicates that the amp is blown. Or is there something else I can test? How do shops check if an amp is blown? Opening the amp up and getting to that fuse would be a pain in the ***, so I'm trying to leave them as last resorts.

and i dont see how it could be a blown inline fuse, since the amp is still getting power, right?
Yeah, that's why I think it's the amp. I just hoped it wasn't because I didn't want to deal with getting it fixed or going through warranty stuff.

Tis true, but if I recall correctly, it was zero ac current. Meh, either way I don't have time to do anything about it now.

I also have a 2k6. You might have blew the fuse which is easy to check. Just take off the back cover and check. Also check your sub to make sure you didn't blow a coil. As for your test was it at 1ohm or was that your impedance rise? If that was your rise what was your nominal impedance? I hope not less than .5ohms. Because if it was less than .5ohms than that might be the reason the amp blew. Good luck.

Take the cover off of the amp and look for black marks or burns on the board. You might not see anything but something could be damaged. Check the fuses too. If you don't see any damage and your still having problems, you probably have a amp.

Nominal impedance was 0.5 ohm, it rose up to 0.95 ohm.

I'll take the cover off this weekend and see what it looks like in there. If it is the fuse, I wonder where I can get a magic Stetsom fuse to replace it.
