Is my amp blown?

Nominal impedance was 0.5 ohm, it rose up to 0.95 ohm.




I'll take the cover off this weekend and see what it looks like in there. If it is the fuse, I wonder where I can get a magic Stetsom fuse to replace it.

With a rise that low from .5ohms I'm going to have to conclude that you probably blew the amp. That's pretty low impedance rise for a 2k6d from .5ohms. I get a little more than 3k at .5ohms rising to 1.8ohms and that's on a pretty small battery. So if you get about the same power with a lower rise then you weren't gaining any power and just overloaded the amp. I hope that I'm wrong and it's just a fuse. And if it is a fuse I'll help you find a replacement. Good luck.
