Is monster p400 0 gauge good power wire?

I am going to do the big 3 on my 99 grand prix and was looking for some good wire. $70 is my limit and this wire costs that on ebay. Also will I need an inline fuse on the positive wire? If so how big? I currently have the stock alt and batt but hope to upgrade to a dc power 270 amp alt and optima battery soon. Thanks.

1) save a little more and get better wire. Look into Knu Konceptz.

2) you don't NEED a fuse, I run a XP270 and that shit was expensive. I don't wanna risk it so I run a fuse

3) please don't waste your money on a over prices optima.. Get a real battery, Deka, XS POwer, something along one lines, a sealed Dry cell batt.
