Quite the opposite. The Jordan rules were developed by the Pistons. The Pistons aka bad boys would literally beat up on Jordan. They took him out any chance they got and would lay him out anytime he tried to drive on them.

IMO Lebron is 1 on1 is probably the most dominant player in the NBA, and will get to the MJ status one day when he is able to take control and make the players around him play better, like Jordan.Also he needs a little defensive work. Kobe is probably the best player in the NBA at the moment because of his athleticism and how he matured enough to take a mediocre team and make them step up there play. All around Kobe is best, but i dont think that will be for long depending on how Lebrons improves himself each year.

Kobe used to be real streaky in previous years, only til this year is he most consistent. And No one can stop Jordan i mean come on 1997 NBA Finals 38 points with the flu .

Both teams had the same exact record and Los Angeles didn't play like shit against San Antonio or Minnesota but all of the sudden plays like shit in 5 straight games against Detroit? perhaps Detroit forced them to play that way? Also i bet if I look up Kobe's career numbers against this group of Pistons (2004 to present) He hasn't put up as good of numbers against other teams.

They won of course they were better. I believe it was a combination of the Pistons stifling d and the Lakers over confidence. Not to mention all the other shit they had going on with the team. And yes maybe as good as other teams but still impressive numbers I am sure.

I just feel that he had bad nights and good never really seen a time where he was just shut down by an individual player.

Man, I think if anyone even entertains the thought of Lebron James even being on the same level as Jordan is either real young to have not whitnessed what Jordan did to the NBA or is not thinking clearly.

Jordan was the NBA plain and simple. As good as Barkley and all the other super stars were NOBODY has ever been or ever will be on MJ's level. A better comparison would be to look at Pippen and James. MJ was great and in the clutch he was unstoppable. Just thinking of watching Jordan play brings goose bumps.

Lebron is a good player and if he keeps going at this pace he may end up in the top 20-40 NBA greats. He isnt even the best in the game now. Kevin Garnet is the best all around player now. The T-wolves go to the playoffs most every year and this year with out him they win like 1 in 10 games. The Celtics are now the team to beat with him.

The same thing could be said about you being too young if you dont at least include Magic and Wilt in that same sentence.
