In terms of skills Kobe and Lebron have the edge, but as a basketball player, I think Paul is more deserving of the MVP. Lakers were again another 6-8 seed before they went and got Pau. Paul has a good supporting cast, but he makes them better. Look at last year. New Orleans was in the middle of the playoffs, then Paul gets injured and New Orleans drops out of the playoffs. Paul is healthy again this year and New Orleans is back to a top 3 team in the tough west.

but Cleveland really isn't that good. If they were in the west they wouldn't make the playoffs, in fact they would be 10th. They are a second round team at best. They are 10 games back in their division. The east is so bad you could probably plug in an average to above average small forward in place of Lebron and they could challenge for the 8th seed.
