i was thinking of the new pioneer DEH-P350 or the DEH-P450.
because i dont have many features in my headunit (i want something like the equalizer thing in the pioneer headunit has so i can configure my system)
You couldn't be more wrong if you tried. You can in fact change out any stereo in any car, no matter how nice or new it is. It all is just a factor of how many adaptors you will need. Check http://www.autotoys.com to see if they make an adaptor for your car, if they don't email them to see if it is available. You also do not have to "rewire" any of your speakers. They make adaptors that let you interface with stock amps. It is possible you may lose the steering wheel controls, but they do make adaptors for those as well. Those adaptors are, however, somewhat HU specific. I don't think they make a universal one for the Benz though, but they may.Originally posted by ricerdude thats why if you buy an expensive car you dont put a nice stereo in it ...most of them come with a fairly good one...did the guy say you will have to rewire all of your speakers...well good luck..
