Is it possible?

I also set mine by ear, but I also know what HPF, LPF, SSFs all do. I wouldn't recommend for a new guy without experience. Don't throw the 2yr old learning to swim in the ocean bro //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
:crap:I never think about that:crap:

I argue this also. setting the amp with the dmm method will be more accurate if you have the subs attached as you will have the real world imp rise. use the chart's low imp freq and run with it.

I haven't seen any decent argument to the contrary yet with exception of the internal regulated amps.

I measure my resistance at the leads to use. So say my components read 3.7ohm and I want 100w rms.

ACV = sqrt(100 x 3.7)

Set HPF ~80hz

Place leads in terminals

Playing a 1khz -3dB tone on a cd slowly turn the gain up until you reach the desired ACV

Plug wires in.
