Is it possible?

Is it possible to use both the head unit and a seperate amp to power a set of speakers? Say if the headunit is 40 watts RMS and a amp 70 watts RMS,is there any way to give the speakers 110 watts RMS from the two of them?

you will need speakers that are bi-ampable...that means the ability to accept two amps...some coaxials amd componets have this feature...you can feed the tweeters deck power and the mid bass amp power //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

that's right but that has nothing to do with an amp. so your saying if you had 2 saz 1k's and wired to one sub it would not work....

not saying the OP situation would work.
